    Greetings,

    I am currently researching what is required to move a company from a Functional organization to a Product-centric organization.  In other words, moving from the traditional "Sales, Marketing, Engineering" structure to being organized by product line.

    This seems to be common in very large companies (think GE, IBM, Apple) or in the software industry.  But I am hoping to find a mid-sized industrial company, a "peer company" that has gone through this transition.  Ideally, I am looking for the name of the company, and a contact within that company, so that I can begin a dialog.

    If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it!
